Information about out rooms

  • We cater to travellers of all ages with rooms ranging from simple to downright luxurious.
  • 7 rooms with private bath and balcony
  • 1 rustic cabana w/private bath
  • Several single/double rooms with shared bath
  • 3 dormitories each with 7-8 beds

Seven shared bath facilities are on the grounds so you won't have to wait in line, and yes, the showers are all HOT!

Our three "luxury" rooms all come equipped with electricity, private bath with raging hot shower, private balcony, and plenty of space to stretch out. Toliman and Atitlan offer gorgeous lake views and have one king-size bed and one single. Oro is ideal for families, with 1 double bed and 2 singles.

We often fill up on the weekends, especially in busy seasons, so if you know you're coming then it's best to reserve. If you'll be arriving after 3:00 pm please specify to assure we'll hold your reservation.

Prices as of September 2011:

  • Dorm beds are less than $5/night. 
  • Private rooms without bath range from $7/$10 to $12/$16 for single/double occupancy.
  • Private rooms with bath are $30 for single or double / $35 for 3 people. 
  • Luxury rooms go for $40 for single or double / $47 for 3 people /$54 for 4.

 

3 Volcano Rooms

The best rooms in the house. "Atitlan" and "Toliman" each have a king size bed and one single, private bathroom with raging hot water, private balcony with hammock and stunning view across the lake to the volcanos. "Oro" has one double bed and two singles, the same luxury as it's neighbors but less of a view as it is downstairs.

5 Dog rooms

We have five "dog" rooms which all have a double bed, single bed, en suite bathroom with raging hot water and outside seating area.

Lake view, double bed, shared bath, electricity.

2 single beds, shared bathroom, electricity

Single room, shared bathroom, electricity

Cabaña

One double bed and one single, private bath and electricity.

Arriba Payaso

Double bed, private terrace with garden view, shared bath, no electricity (candles provided).

2 Payasos

Payaso 1: Double bed, Payaso 2: Two single beds. Both rooms with shared bathroom and no electricity (candles provided).

Dormitories

Dorm and Sunshine ($5/night) hold 8 and 7 people respectively and have electricity. The Castillo holds 8 people, has no electricity and is an open-front A-frame ($3.50/night).
