ATI Divers is a dive shop offering fun dives and PADI dive courses in Lake Atitlan since 1996. Whether you're an experienced diver or just beginning in our open water course, this high altitude (1560m), fresh water volcanic crater lake provides a unique environment for divers looking for something different.

Things to see include massive volcanic rock formations, a fault line where you can plunge your hands into hot volcanic mud, a vertical swim-thru, sunken trees, and an abundance of fish, crabs and plant life. Water temperature is around 20簞C / 70簞F and visibility varies between 4 - 14m / 12 - 45ft. It's best to dive as early as possible as the lake can get choppy in the afternoon.

All courses are run by a certified PADI instructor and all fun dives are guided by a divemaster or instructor. We use 6.5 mm wetsuits and all equipment is in a good to new condition and all equipment is included in the prices listed below:

Fun Dives: One Dive $30, Two Dives $50

PADI Courses:
Altitude Specialty (Includes 2 Dives) - $80

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to dive here you need to spend the night of your dive on the level of the lake. Leaving Atitlan by road takes you over high mountain passes and PADI now recommends 18 hours before such an altitude change to avoid decompression sickness.
